Owners Melinda and Rob Rodriguez believe that "to be successful in a business, you must be willing to take risks." Access Quality Therapy Services, the company that they co-founded, began with a dream and very little capital investment. Eleven years later, this local home grown company, which employs 89 clinicians and office support staff, has become one of the leaders in home health and outpatient rehabilitation services in San Antonio. Melinda and Rob also believe that giving back to the community is an equally important component when measuring success of their business. Melinda who grew up in the Philippines and Rob, a San Antonio native, both admit that the community has been very good to them personally and in business. Melinda and Rob are very hands on business owners, but still find time to serve on numerous boards and organizations.
Both Rob and Melinda believe that "patient empowerment" will become the future doctrine in the health care industry. AQTS continues to expand by offering new services and programs. AQTS values the "team approach" in providing compassionate health care, by working together with patients, their families and their physicians.
They continue to seek employees of all races and believe that everyone who has the desire to work deserves that opportunity.
